Tampa Bay Mission of Hope is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax exempt organizations that is created to support and revitalize communities  by providing  transitional, affordable and permanent housing assistance to women, low-income families and veterans. Supportive housing and classes are offered to residents who reside at Kenningston Gardens a low-income HUD section 8 housing complex for women and children.  Our goals are to improve the quality of life  by providing affordable, transitional and permanent housing to residents in Hillsborough County. 
                                             

Dr. Reba Haley, Ph.D  is a licensed addiction therapist and the Executive Director, who offers integrated models of care and services that strive to meet the needs of the whole person, family and community. We provide innovative, results-driven Behavioral Health Services to assist those with mental health and substance abuse issues. Residents in our HUD properties must meet income guidelines  and commit to attend 6 classes one per month.

Tampa Bay Mission of Hope offers affordable permanent housing, job training and job placement for women and families in Hillsborough County. We partnered with Dress for Success of Tampa Bay to provide clothing attire and  assistance to women that are unemployed and loss jobs, since the pandemic.  In order to receive permanent  housing clients are required to attend  one class per week for 6 weeks to ensure families are not at risk of homelessness.  Our goal is eliminate homelessness and increase permanent housing for women and families.  We offer the following classes:

 Serenity House Emergency Shelter for Women & Children  

Since, the pandemic our emergency telephone line have  received  an increase number of  calls from  women seeking emergency shelter due to job loss, homelessness and domestic violence. Serenity House is an emergency shelter that provides temporary housing and transitional women for women. The Women Building Women for Success jobs program helps women with jobs and permanent housing

  • 24 hour shelter
